We are looking for a dedicated Estimator to join our team and specialize in providing accurate cost estimate for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
Location: Russelville, KY
Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed analysis of project requirements and specifications to prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial and industrial HVAC and electrical services
Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to gather essential information for accurate estimations.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to assess project scope and identify material and labor requirements.
- Develop detailed estimates that include material costs, labor projections, equipment expenses, and project timelines.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of pricing information and industry benchmarks to ensure competitive and precise estimates.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client consultations to understand project needs and address any queries related to estimates.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and cost estimates.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills to accurately estimate costs and project timelines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to interact with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
- Familiarity with estimation software and tools is a plus.
- Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial and industrial construction, with a focus on HVAC and electrical services.
Thorough understanding of commercial and industrial HVAC and electrical systems, regulations, and industry standards.
Proficiency in analyzing complex technical documents, such as blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills to accurately estimate costs and project timelines.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to interact with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
Familiarity with estimation software and tools is a plus.
Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
