**Position Overview:**
As a per diem RN at Aura Hospice, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care to hospice patients in their homes or facilities. Candidates with prior experience in hospice care are preferred.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care plans and end-of-life issues.
- Document patient care activities accurately and comply with all safety and health regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Respond to patient and family needs with compassion and professionalism.
**Qualifications:**
- Current RN license in NV.
- Hospice experience required.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
