Direct support staff provide in-home Personal Care Services and Companion Care
Services to individuals with various types of disabilities.
Direct Support Staff are also referred to as Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA), Personal
Care Assistants (PCA), Direct Support Professionals (DSP)/ Caregiver Staff. Staff must be
W2 employees.
Performing Personal Care Services or “Hands on services” and Companion/ Sitter
Services for elderly, ill, physically disabled, intellectually & developmentally disable, and
recuperating clients.
Be licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of GA or have a Personal Care
Assistant (PCA) certification with GACCP (which is recognized a suitable training program per
state regulations and DCH)
