Certified Surgical Technician (CST) – Travel Assignment
Lawton, Oklahoma
Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operating Room Technician (CST) to support surgical teams in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will assist during surgical procedures, maintain sterile conditions, and ensure safe and efficient patient care throughout the surgical process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments and equipment
- Maintain strict infection control and safety standards
- Support patient preparation and post-operative coordination
- Anticipate surgical team needs during procedures
- Proper handling and counting of surgical instruments
Submission Requirements
- Minimum 2 years #CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) experience – REQUIRED
- Valid NCCT Certification – REQUIRED (must be documented)
- Complete work history required
- Candidate’s permanent address must be included (local candidates may be considered at reduced rate)
Certifications Required
- NCCT (National Center for Competency Testing) – Mandatory
Note: Facility may still review candidates without all active supporting certifications.
Additional Details
- No special scheduling requirements
- Orientation for travelers begins on Thursdays
- No OT/holiday/call-back multipliers
- Former direct employees must observe a 6-month cooling period before rehire through agency
