Role Description

As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), you'll provide individual, couples, and family therapy in a collaborative hybrid practice serving the greater Corvallis community. This full-time position includes a combination of in-person and telehealth services while allowing flexibility to work from home for appropriate clinical responsibilities.

Beyond providing therapy, you'll become part of a team that prioritizes consultation, mentorship, and clinical excellence. Associates receive weekly supervision, regular case consultation, ongoing training opportunities, and support in developing their own clinical style while building confidence and competence.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide individual, couples, family, and child therapy.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation that meets ethical, legal, and insurance standards.
• Develop and manage a consistent clinical caseload.
• Participate in weekly individual supervision and group consultation.
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and administrative staff to provide exceptional client care.
• Continue developing clinical skills through trainings, consultation, and continuing education.
• Uphold the values and standards of Thrive Family Therapy while contributing to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications

Required

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or closely related behavioral health field.
• Active Oregon Associate Marriage and Family Therapist registration (or eligibility prior to start date).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build authentic therapeutic relationships.
• Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.
• Excellent clinical documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a consistent caseload while maintaining high-quality care.
• Openness to feedback, supervision, and continual professional growth.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and families.
• Training or experience in attachment-based, experiential, play, or trauma therapies.
• Experience with telehealth and electronic health record systems.
• Interest in long-term professional development and specialization.
• Passion for working within a collaborative team environment.
