EHS Manager (Environmental, Health & Safety)
The EHS Manager supports daily operations by implementing and promoting environmental, health, and safety initiatives to ensure compliance and drive a zero-injury workplace. This role partners closely with site leadership and supports overall plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of safety equipment, waste storage, chemical areas, confined spaces, and general workplace conditions
- Support programs such as Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Emergency Preparedness, Contractor Safety, and Employee Engagement
- Track and help close corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) related to incidents and unsafe conditions
- Maintain safety communication tools including boards, visual displays, incentive programs, and training records
- Assist with employee training programs (hearing conservation, PIT, First Responder, BBP, and other required trainings)
- Perform workplace inspections, maintain documentation, and follow up on corrective actions
- Support safety programs such as Lockout/Tagout and Fall Protection
- Participate in Safety Committee activities and employee engagement initiatives
- Assist with ISO certification processes and reporting of EHS KPIs
- Promote daily safety awareness and reinforce safe work practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; safety or quality certification is a plus
- Minimum 3 years of EHS or related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to influence across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, including tracking and reporting data
- Experience developing or delivering training is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
