About Us

Thrive Education Partners connects exceptional educators with families seeking highly personalized, values-driven education. We match experienced educators with students who benefit from individualized instruction that builds academic excellence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

We're currently seeking a skilled math tutor to support two elementary students through engaging, one-on-one instruction that extends their mathematical thinking while fostering curiosity, independence, and strong problem-solving skills.

Student Profiles

You'll work with two siblings who are both performing at or above grade level academically. This is an enrichment-focused role designed to challenge each student beyond the standard curriculum while supporting their individual learning styles and goals. The family values personalized instruction, strong communication, and an educator who can build meaningful relationships while helping both students prepare for future competitive academic opportunities.

One student is a highly creative learner who enjoys music, engineering-style building projects, and sports. They thrive when challenged and will benefit from advanced math instruction alongside support for organization and executive functioning.

The second student is an independent, confident learner with a natural aptitude for mathematics. They benefit from positive encouragement as they continues building both academic confidence and strong foundational literacy habits.

  • Compensation: $60–$70 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Scheduling Flexibility: Schedule coordinated with the family
Key Responsibilities
  • Design engaging, individualized math lessons that challenge each student beyond grade-level expectations.
  • Create and adjust personalized learning plans based on ongoing observation, diagnostic assessment, and student progress.
  • Differentiate instruction to match each student's learning style, strengths, and pace.
  • Strengthen mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.
  • Support executive functioning and organizational skills where appropriate to promote greater independence.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with the family, sharing instructional updates and recommendations.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that builds confidence, curiosity, and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
