What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time CTE Teacher position at Thrive Center for Success?
Thrive Center for Success is seeking a part-time Career and Technical Education(CTE) Teacher. Candidates must be knowledgeable of CTE Instruction and Special Education populations. Daily and weekly schedule are flexible, instruction and related duties may range from 2-4 hours per day. This position could also be available for full-time employment with other duties as assigned in addition to CTE instruction.
The CTE Lab was launched during the 2025-2026 school year for the first time. It is used by students in 6th-8th grades twice a week. Our K-5 students access the CTE Lab twice per Nine Weeks grading period. This program is intended to serve as a pilot for future expansion as Thrive adds 9th grade courses next year and beyond. We're looking for the perfect candidate to continue the current instructional model while designing expansion and enhancements for future implementation.
Thrive Center for Success is the first and only public charter school in Texas specifically designed for students with autism. During the 2025-2026 school year, we will enroll 180 students in K-8.
