At Thrive Behavioral Services, LLC we provide additional training and competency assessment as apart of the requirements by the Board to become a credentialed Registered Behavior Technician. Once credentialed, your supervising BCBA will provide ongoing supervision and training weekly. We also offer weekly group training sessions where we come together as a team to grow in our knowledge and application of Applied Behavior Analysis. In addition to these training systems, Thrive Behavioral Services, LLC offers you paid access to our online training portal where you can learn about personal areas that interest you within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
RBT Job Responsibilities:
- Work 1:1 with children diagnosed with special needs
- Follow treatment plans/ behavior plans created by the client's supervising BCBA
- Provide reinforcement to clients as they attain new skills and master targets
- Collect acquisition data and behavior data throughout the ABA session
- Assist the supervising BCBA with assessments
- Prepare/create materials for future programming
- Support Thrive Team members through encouraging words and actions
- Maintain a clean/organized session space
- Work with children to attain new language and communication skills
- Work with children on functional life skills to include (toileting, eating, dressing)
- Uphold client privacy

Qualifications for this position:

- Available to work between the hours of 8am-4.30pm M-Th and Friday 8am-5pm
- are 18 years of age or older (required by Credentialing Board for this position)
- Must have a valid AL drivers license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be First Aid certified or willing and able to obtain this prior to starting employment
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check including sexual abuse back ground check and child abuse screening.
- Must have reliable transportation
*Priority will be given to individuals who are credentialed as RBT's in good standing with the BACB
