Thrive Nursing currently has an immediate opening for a couple RN/LPNs for Hampton, AR. for PRN/PT 3p-10p every other week. Excellent pay. This employee will provide skilled nursing care to an adult patient. Care is always provided in a one-on-one setting, allowing the nurse to build long lasting relationships with their clients and make a tremendous difference in their quality of lives. We desire the following skills but will train you and help you grow your nursing skills and resume.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient, be able to perform, trach care and suctioning
- G Tube care/feeds
- Vital signs, Administer medication.
- Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing.
- Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures.
- Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians
- Palliative care.
- Make recommendations that might improve the patient’s quality of life.
- Listen and respond to concerns or requests.
- Other duties prescribed by physician and on clients care plan.
Qualifications:
- Active Arkansas nursing license in good standing
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor
- Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
- Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
