Thrive Pediatric Nursing currently has an immediate openings for RN/LPN for Hartford, AR for all shifts, days/nights. Excellent pay. This employee will provide skilled nursing care to a ventilator dependent pediatric patient. Care is always provided in a one-on-one setting, allowing the nurse to build long lasting relationships with their clients and make a tremendous difference in their quality of lives. We desire the following skills but will train you and help you grow your nursing skills and resume.
Responsibilities:
· Assess patient, be able to perform, ventilator checks, trach care and suctioning
· GTube care/feeds
· Vital signs, Administer medication.
· Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing.
· Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures.
· Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians
· Palliative care.
· Make recommendations that might improve the patient's quality of life.
· Listen and respond to concerns or requests.
· Other duties prescribed by physician and on clients care plan.
Qualifications:
· Active Arkansas nursing license in good standing
· Strong communication and time-management skills
· Compassionate and friendly demeanor
· Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
· Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
