Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our high-complexity laboratory team. The successful candidate will perform complex laboratory tests, maintain quality control, and ensure compliance with CLIA regulations.
This role is critical to supporting our mission of improving patient outcomes through precise diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-complexity laboratory tests, including Quantitative Urinalysis (QUA), with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct quality control procedures, equipment calibration, and validation studies as per CLIA standards.
- Document and report test results in compliance with laboratory protocols and electronic medical record systems.
- Participate in CLIA-approved proficiency testing programs and address any deficiencies.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff and supervisors to maintain a high standard of operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by ASCP, AMT, or equivalent.
- Meets CLIA requirements for testing personnel in a high-complexity laboratory, including documented training and competency in high-complexity test methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in laboratory information systems and electronic medical records.
- Must reside in (Your Location) or within a reasonable commuting distance.
- Prior experience in a high-complexity laboratory setting is preferred but not required.
