Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional service in a lively hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in fast-paced settings such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet events. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with guests, craft signature drinks, and contribute to a memorable experience for all patrons. Prior experience with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable, along with strong time management and sales skills. A background in food safety, food handling, and hospitality ensures the highest standards of service are maintained.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Restock supplies as needed and ensure all bar tools are sanitized and properly stored.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down bar stations for events such as banquets or catering functions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure seamless service during busy shifts or special occasions.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclubs, banquet settings, or food service environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills.
• Experience in sales-driven roles within the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques or catering experience is a plus but not required.
