We are seeking a flexible individual to join our Delivery Driver team. This position requires daily use of a vehicle, and previous delivery experience is a plus! The ideal candidate is motivated and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to both residential and business addresses, so we are interested in hiring individuals with excellent written communication skills, the ability to work independently, and good organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities for a Portable Restroom Driver
A Portable Restroom Driver is responsible for delivering, servicing, and picking up portable toilets at various locations such as construction sites, events, and outdoor venues. The role combines driving, cleaning, and customer service duties, with a focus on safety, sanitation, and meeting service standards.
Core Responsibilities Include:
Driving & Delivery: Operate a service truck to deliver, set up, and retrieve portable toilets at assigned job sites, following designated routes and schedules.
Cleaning & Sanitizing: Pump out waste, scrub floors, urinals, and surfaces, remove debris, and deodorize units to meet company and P.S.A.I. certification standards.
Restocking & Maintenance: Replace or replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and deodorizer; check and replace screens, hoses, and seats; perform minor repairs or report needed repairs.
Vehicle & Equipment Care: Inspect and maintain the service truck before and after each route; ensure it is fueled, equipped, and in good working order.
Customer Service: Interact courteously with customers and supervisors, address concerns promptly, and maintain a professional appearance.
Record Keeping: Complete daily service logs, truck inspection reports, and route logs; report any issues (e.g., inaccessible units, equipment problems) to supervisors or dispatchers.
Route Management: Work designated days and in assigned orders; be prepared to work overtime during busy seasons.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines; operate equipment and vehicles safely; maintain DOT-compliant driving records.
Physical Tasks: Lift and move portable toilets, carry hoses and deodorizers, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods; work in all weather conditions.
Work Environment:Primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather, with exposure to noise, dust, and potential hazards from construction or event sites.
In short, a portable restroom driver must be reliable, physically capable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused, with the ability to handle both driving and hands-on cleaning tasks efficiently.
Minimum Job Requirements: At least 21 years of age. Have a valid and current drivers license with no major speeding/moving violations. Must pass a background check and have the clearance to access military installations.
