While this job is remote on a day-to-day basis, some travel will be required to maintain our presence in a Seattle, WA datacenter. Periodically, we also dispatch to customer sites to aid with escalated requests, assist our sales team, or just say hello.   Eight or more years of industry experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or in a comparable networki
• ng role.Telecommunications industry experience is strongly pr

• skills.In-depth understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols, including BGP a
• nd OSPF.Strong working knowledge of the OSI model and ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP networks using physical and software diagnosti
• c tools.Demonstrated proficiency in planning, deploying, and troubleshooting WANs, LANs, firewalls, DNS, VLANs, static and dynamic IP addressing, a
• nd VPNs.Experience supporting on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Ora
• cle OCI.Deep understanding of Metro Ethernet services and terminology, including EPL, EVPL, UNIs, NNIs, and IEEE
• 802.1ad.Strong understanding of network operating systems, including Arista EOS, Cisco IOS XR, Ciena SAOS, Fortinet FortiOS, and Palo Alto Networks
