ADHD Academic Coach for College Students

Threshold Coaches
Bellingham, WA Part Time
POSTED ON 7/10/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/6/2026

At Threshold Coaches, we support students with ADHD as they learn to successfully navigate the college experience. Our coaches provide research-based coaching to help students with ADHD

  • connect with each other and the support structures on campus.
  • learn about ADHD and how to develop the academic and social skill sets needed for college life.
  • thrive as they begin to discover their own strengths and build compensating mechanisms to successfully support the difficulties associated with ADHD.

Threshold Coaches continues to grow and build incredible ADHD/excutive function coaching relationships with the college student population in Bellingham. Our program is independent of any college or university, yet caters to the unique needs of college students who are attending these schools and struggling with ADHD.

As an ADHD/Academic Coach with our company, you will:

  • Coach students in both small group and 1:1 settings, implementing Threshold's Curriculum, developed to support ADHD students in the college setting. The coach will help college students set actionable goals and then assist in the implementation of every day tasks to meet those goals.
  • Coach students in-person at an agreed upon on-campus or convenient off-campus location.
  • Help students better understand how to organize, plan, prioritize, advocate with professors, manage time, maintain focus, self-assess, and study to promote both academic and emotional well-being in the college setting.
  • Communicate with parents in free consultations, initial parent intakes, and once per term to share progress and reassess goals.

Note: We believe that a good Academic Coach is always considering the larger picture of college life, knowing that academics are profoundly impacted by health in the mental, physical, and social realms. In this position, you will be actively checking in on these realms in addition to academics.
