Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Location: Bremen, Indiana
Positions: Maintenance Technician Levels 1, 2, and 3

We are hiring Maintenance Technicians at multiple experience levels. If you have hands-on manufacturing maintenance experience and enjoy troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or automated equipment, we want to hear from you.
Compensation
Estimated annual earnings:
- Level 1: Approximately $78,000 in Year 1 and $83,000 in Year 2
- Level 2: Approximately $89,000 in Year 1 and $96,000 in Year 2
- Scheduled pay increases at approximately 18 and 36 weeks
- Nine hours of overtime built into the schedule every other week
- Additional overtime opportunities
- Bonus program
- Potential annual wage increases; summer increases have historically been around 4%
Actual earnings may vary based on technician level, hours worked, overtime, and applicable wage increases.

Schedule
Level 1 and Level 2 Technicians
- Night shift: 4:45 p.m.–5:00 a.m.
- Rotating 2-2-3 schedule
- Work only seven days during each 14-day period
- Every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off
- Built-in overtime every other week
Level 3 Technicians
- Typically Monday through Friday on day shift
- Flexibility to support other shifts as needed
- Advanced role focused on PLC programming and drive commissioning
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment failures
- Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Work with motors, drives, controls, sensors, and automated systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Use meters and diagnostic tools to identify equipment problems
- Support safe, reliable production while minimizing downtime
- Document completed work and communicate clearly with operations and maintenance teams
What We’re Looking For
Qualified candidates should have industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment and strengths in several of the following areas:
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Three-phase motors and related systems
- AC/DC motor controls and circuitry
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs and drives
- Reading and using schematic diagrams
- Proper use of multimeters and other test equipment
- Electrical safety, including working around high-value capacitors
- Diodes, amplifier circuits, and industrial electronic components
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
Journeyman, apprentice, technical-school, military, and equivalent hands-on experience will all be considered. A college degree is not required.
Level 3 Qualifications
Level 3 candidates must have advanced experience with:
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Programming and commissioning variable-frequency drives
- Supporting complex automated manufacturing equipment
- Leading difficult controls and electrical troubleshooting assignments
Workplace Requirements / Candidates must be able to:
- Maintain a dependable work history and professional demeanor
- Provide a detailed résumé outlining relevant technical experience
- Work safely while wearing required personal protective equipment
- Work on a non-smoking campus
- Complete a background check, drug screening, physical, and education verification, as applicable
Interview Process
Selected candidates will speak with maintenance leadership and answer technical questions related to their experience. Candidates advancing in the process will complete a hands-on or written technical assessment lasting approximately two to two-and-a-half hours.
