Position Summary
The Leasing Assistant supports the leasing operations for Threefold Property Management by helping manage the lead-to-lease process, coordinating tours, preparing leasing documents, and ensuring prospects receive timely, professional communication. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with a strong interest in property management and sales support.
Working closely with the Property Manager and onsite teams, the Leasing Assistant helps drive occupancy by managing leads, assisting with tours, processing applications, and supporting the overall leasing workflow. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent communication skills and consistent follow-up.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor incoming inquiries and respond promptly through phone, email, and messages.
- Create and update resident information in the property management system.
- Assist with qualifying leads and scheduling virtual or in-person tours for the Property Manager or onsite teams.
- Provide general information about availability, pricing, and community features.
Tour Coordination
- Prepare units for tours by confirming readiness status with maintenance and onsite staff.
- Assist in conducting virtual tours or support onsite teams with in-person tours when needed.
Application & Leasing Support
- Guide prospects through the application process, including required documents and next steps.
- Review applications for completeness before submitting them for approval.
- Assist in preparing lease documents, renewal offers, and move-in packets.
- Help set up new residents in the portal and ensure smooth communication through the move-in process.
Administrative & Reporting Tasks
- Track leads, tours, applications, and leases.
- Maintain accurate and organized records for leasing files.
- Assist in weekly reporting on traffic, conversions, and occupancy trends.
- Support marketing efforts by updating listings, photos, and availability across platforms.
Customer Service
- Provide high-quality customer service to prospective and current residents.
- Address basic questions and concerns, escalating more complex matters to the Property Manager.
- Ensure all interactions reflect Threefold’s values and commitment to resident satisfaction.
Other Duties
- Support onsite teams with resident communications during high-volume periods.
- Assist with community events, move-ins, and occupancy-related projects as needed.
- Perform other leasing-related duties as assigned.

Real Estate Knowledge (Preferred) – Familiarity with leasing terminology, property management systems, and Fair Housing guidelines.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk units, and tour properties.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., signage, boxes, supplies).
- Ability to view computer screens and documentation with required visual acuity.
- Primarily office or virtual environment; occasional outdoor or onsite property visits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Prior leasing, sales, customer service, or administrative experience is a plus.
- Experience with property management software (AppFolio, etc.) preferred but not required.
- Strong computer, phone, and communication skills.
- Ability to work a consistent schedule, including occasional weekends if needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
