What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Writer & Trainer position at Three Wire Systems?
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provides training for all FASOR end user needs, ranging from remedial through full FASOR (Family Advocacy System of Records) training
- Develop short videos explaining how to perform functions in FASOR
- Develop short training guides as well as comprehensive training guides to address specific training needs.
- Provide training for new modules to all end users no later than 10 duty days prior to deployment of new functionality.
- Provide remedial training on existing functionality as requested by the government.
- Provide appropriate level of training for 3-5 pilot sites per phase (includes MTF staff and FAP Prevention staff training).
- Provide an overall, comprehensive training plan, as well as training materials appropriate for all training venues.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in policy and procedure development and report development.
- Excellent written, oral and proficiency.
- Ability to interact cordially with co-workers, landlords, vendors and use good judgment with dealing with escalated and time-sensitive issues.
- Advanced Knowledge of spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel, word processing software such as Microsoft Word, and presentation software such as Power Point as well as strong understanding of contact center technology.
Minimum Education/Training Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Instructional Design or similar.
2. Three (3) years full-time equivalent experience performing professional-level training, technical writing and presenting. Strongly prefer candidates where this experience has been within the Department of Defense services.

Work Environment: Hybrid, 2 days required in office; Occasional travel up to 5% is expected.
