Three Trails Behavioral Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. This role is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing mental health and behavioral health challenges in a safe, therapeutic environment.
As a PRN nurse, you will have the flexibility to pick up shifts while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
- Monitor patient status and document clinical observations accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Respond appropriately to crisis situations and behavioral health emergencies.
- Promote a safe, supportive, and therapeutic treatment environment.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Missouri (or compact license eligible to practice in Missouri).
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Behavioral health, psychiatric, inpatient, or acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Schedule
- PRN (as needed)
- Must be available to work occasional weekends and holidays as needed.
- 12 hour shifts are available.
