We are looking for a Housing Consultant for our NEW LOCATION, to guide customers through one of the most important purchases of their lives — their home. You’ll manage the full buying journey, from first conversation to closing, while delivering an exceptional, personalized experience every step of the way. This is a professional sales role with strong earning potential, structured training, and real growth opportunities. We offer a range of $40,000-$44,000 for a base salary, providing security as you build your pipeline. Our top performers leverage our robust commission and incentive structure to achieve total annual compensation towards the $100,000 range. Saturdays are required with a day off during the week.

Housing Consultant
Position Summary
The Housing Consultant is responsible for driving home sales by delivering a consultative, customer-centered buying experience from initial inquiry through closing and post-sale follow-up. This role manages the full sales pipeline, builds strong customer relationships, and guides buyers through the home selection and financing process to ensure informed decisions and long-term satisfaction.
Success in this role is measured by sales performance, customer experience, pipeline development, and the ability to match buyers with homes that meet their needs and budget.

• Compensation: $40,000-$44,000 annual base salary plus commissions and incentives (target earnings $100,000 )

Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Revenue Generation
• Manage the full home buying journey from first contact through closing.
• Guide customers through home selection, customization, financing coordination, and purchase decisions.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and revenue goals.
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects and effectively move leads through the sales process.
Customer Consultative Experience
• Conduct needs assessments to understand customer preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget.
• Provide professional tours of home displays and explain features, options, and value.
• Educate customers on the home buying process, financing pathways, and available products.
• Provide recommendations that align with customer goals and financial readiness.
• Deliver a pressure-free, professional, and responsive buying experience.
Pipeline Development & Business Growth
• Generate new business through lead follow-up, referrals, community engagement, and networking.
• Maintain consistent communication with prospects and customers.
• Participate in events and outreach efforts to build brand presence and attract buyers.
• Develop and maintain an organized database of prospects and active customers.
Customer Relationship Management
• Maintain accurate, timely, and secure documentation of all customer interactions.
• Proactively follow up to support decision-making, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain long-term relationships to encourage referrals and repeat business.
Operational Effectiveness
• Assist customers with finance applications and coordinate with approved vendors.
• Maintain strong knowledge of available homes, options, pricing, and promotions.
• Utilize CRM and sales management systems to track activity and performance.
• Stay informed on industry trends, financing practices, and product offerings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Sales experience preferred; training provided for strong candidates
• Experience in finance, real estate, or construction is a plus
Physical Requirements
• Extended periods of standing and walking through home displays and outdoor areas
• Periods of sitting for computer and documentation work
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
Other Requirements
• Successful background check and drug screening
• Saturdays required (closed Sundays; one weekday off)
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Housing Consultant Manager and may receive direction from designated senior staff.
