Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, lobbies, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Conduct routine custodial tasks such as dusting surfaces, emptying trash bins, sanitizing high-touch areas, and replenishing supplies.
- Operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to maintain shiny, well-kept flooring.
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized cleaning tasks as needed to meet safety and hygiene standards.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs or hazards discovered during cleaning routines.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in both commercial and residential settings through consistent and efficient cleaning practices.
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential environments.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and industrial vacuums safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled hours.
