What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal (5613) with Security Clearance position at Three Saints Bay, LLC?
Shearwater, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Paralegal to join our Team in Washington, DC. Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in the review, organization, and preparation of legal documents such as Answers, Motions for Extensions, and other pleadings.
- Responsible for docketing utilizing electronic management systems.
- Collect, compile, or extract case-related data and information and prepare management information reports.
- Review, complete, and/or correct files concerning matters associated with litigation
- Provide support to agency attorneys
- Track case related information in agency data systems
- Assist with general administrative office tasks as assigned Position Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of Paralegal/Legal Secretary experience required.
- A Bachelor's Degree or an Associates Degree Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred
- Must have knowledge of legal principles, statutes, regulations, and federal rules that apply to litigation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work as a team player in a professional environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Clearance Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
