Engineering Technician II, Sonar / Towed Array
GVI Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Electrical / Mechanical Technician - Navy to provide support for the Department of the Navy’s Sonar / Towed Array program in Poulsbo, WA.
Qualified candidates will be expected to:
Conduct a variety of tests using established methods. Prepares test specimens, adjusts and operates equipment, and records test data, pointing out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or observational errors. Extracts engineering data from various prescribed but non standardized sources; processes the data following well-defined methods including elementary algebra and geometry; presents the data in prescribed form.
Position Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year work related experience in electrical/electronic systems.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Ability to frequently lift 40 lbs.
- Able to perform light mechanical maintenance actions and operate a forklift as part of assigned duties.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (2007/2010).
- Experience with general electronics test equipment.
Position is located in Poulsbo, WA.
