Job Purpose:
- The Human Resources Specialist at THREE RIVERS YOUTH will play a vital role in supporting the organization's human resources functions, ensuring efficient and effective HR operations. This position is responsible for managing various HR tasks, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Specialist will contribute to creating a positive work environment and fostering employee engagement to support the organization's mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection laws.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related issues, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and development, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and develop strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and enhancing employee satisfaction and engagement.
Required Education:
- Master's degree preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Experience with HR software and systems.
- Proven track record in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Familiarity with employee relations and performance management.
