We're a mission-driven residential treatment center serving youth ages 11–17. Our team provides trauma-informed care in a collaborative, supportive environment. We’re looking for license-eligible clinicians who want to grow professionally while helping youth navigate some of the most critical turning points in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, you will:
Provide individual, family, and group therapy
Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans
Lead psychoeducational and special focus process groups
Maintain regular contact with families and referral sources
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and unit activities
Complete timely and accurate documentation in line with regulatory standards
Participate in outreach and referral development activities
Engage in quality improvement efforts including audits and reviews
Qualifications
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field (required)
At least one year of experience in a behavioral health setting with youth preferred
Eligible for licensure in Virginia (LPC or LCSW)
Basic understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health principles, and psychiatric terminology
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records
Certifications Required:
CPR and First Aid
Facilityapproved behavioral management system
TraumaInformed Care Certification within 90 days
Valid Driver’s License in good standing
Applicants must be at least 19 years old per Virginia regulations governing children’s residential facilities.
