About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented tech professional who thrives on solving complex problems and ensuring software quality? We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst/Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work both independently and collaboratively as a key consulting team member on client solution, enhancement, and integration projects.
This is a hybrid position. Candidates must reside within daily driving distance of the La Crosse, WI or Rochester, MN areas, as on-site work at various client locations is required.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Test Design & Execution: Design, implement, and execute functional, integration, and system test cases.
- Documentation: Write comprehensive Test Plans, test cases, and scenarios for testing applications and software components.
- Tool Utilization: Design, develop, and execute automated or manual tests using industry-standard test tools.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with software development teams at all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Client Engagement: Interface directly with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure successful project integration.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical field.
- Core Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and software testing principles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL for data verification and testing. Familiarity with development languages (e.g., C , VB) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong troubleshooting/problem-solving techniques, and the ability to work independently.
- Client-Facing Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and customer interface skills.
Special Requirements
- Reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license (required for travel to local client sites).
