Overview
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as in-facility care aide. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need within their homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry
- Implement care plans tailored to each client's specific needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior
- Engage in activities that stimulate the mind and body of clients
- Follow proper procedures for patient observation
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals in assisted living or memory care settings is preferred
- Ability to work with people with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs
- Knowledge of creating and implementing care plans
- Proficiency in cooking nutritious meals for clients
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
