Certified / Licensed Pharmacy Technician Full/Part time

Job Summary:-

We are looking for a highly talented & motivated Certified or Licensed Pharmacy Technician for our Three Rivers Pharmacy in Three Rivers, MI.

This position of Pharmacy Technician is very important in the retail pharmacy and therefore plays an important part in the success and culture development of our Pharmacy. The person is professional with caring and outstanding service oriented attitude. For this position a person must be good with people, patient, understanding, and able to work while a variety of different tasks are going on simultaneously,

Duties and Responsibilities:-

Customer’s profiles creating and maintenance with adding insurance and other details.

Receiving prescriptions/refills from patients and from Dr office via verbal, Phone and fax order. Retrieve bottles, count, pour, weigh, package and label products as necessary Accurately operating a cash register, display cost of customer purchase and issue receipt.

Maintain a clean, attractive and well stocked department and have familiarity with all products carried in the department.

Worked under the supervision of Pharmacy manager and notify Pharmacy Manager of supplies/products that need to be ordered.

Abide by HIPPA and all legal policies and procedures enforced by our Pharmacy. Should be able to do any task delegated by pharmacist on duty other than final verification of prescriptions and patient counseling on medications.

General housekeeping to be completed by store team including

Daily: Prescription Filling/Delivery, emptying trash, vacuum

Weekly: clean bathrooms, dust shelves/fixtures

As needed/requested: move products/boxes; run errands/make deliveries; face products on shelving, Doing Marketing at different places

Qualifications:-

Minimum Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED is required

Must have Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician certification -PTCB or as required by state law.

Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities:-

Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret prescriptions/documents.

Basic mathematical skills for Pharmacy Suggestive Selling/Knowledge of Products.

Job Experience :-

One (1) year or more prior customer service oriented or pharmacy Technician related experience preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
