What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Support Specialist position at Three Rivers Community Action Inc?

The Client Support Specialist provides excellent customer service, program support, and expertise. They serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, visitors, and emails, offering information and referrals. They gather and maintain client-related data and interact with directors, program coordinators, and Agency management. This Full-time position (40 hours per week) is Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm and will be based in Zumbrota.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current, valid driver’s license in good standing as defined by agency insurance company, unless explicitly approved otherwise by supervisor
  • Current, valid personal automobile insurance, unless explicitly approved otherwise by supervisor
  • Ability to pass required background study, as defined by position
  • At least two years of work experience in a customer service role, successfully working in direct contact with the public.
  • Associate Degree or equivalent technical training in business, administrative support careers, human services or similar program. In lieu of degree, an additional year of experience is required (total of at least three years of relevant work experience).
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Video Conferencing. Proficiency with office equipment including multi-line phone.
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills.
  • Ability to manage projects and tasks with multiple interruptions.
  • Ability to travel to other offices as needed.
