Job Title: Technical Writer
Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Location: Northridge, CA / Remote
Shift: 1st Shift
Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and maintain technical documents, manuals, work instructions, and procedures.
- Review and update documentation to reflect product and process changes.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams.
- Organize technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation.
- Ensure documents comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support document control, version management, and revision activities.
- Proofread documents for grammar, formatting, consistency, and technical accuracy.
- Prepare patient-facing and medical device documentation when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience writing technical or patient-facing documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the medical device or regulated industry.
- Knowledge of document control and quality management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong editing, proofreading, and technical writing skills.
