Job Title: Laboratory Technician

12-Hour Shift
4 Days On / 4 Days Off (Rotating Schedule)
Duration: 4 Months
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Document and communicate test results.
• Monitor and calibrate laboratory instruments.
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on testing equipment.
• Support food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Maintain laboratory records and databases.
• Assist with inspections, trials, and quality investigations.
Required Skills:
• Laboratory testing and sample analysis.
• Data entry and documentation.
• Instrument calibration and maintenance.
• Understanding of food safety and quality procedures.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in a Science-related field.
• Food, Chemical, Biological, or Quality Lab experience.
• Experience working in manufacturing or food production environments.
Work Environment:
• Food manufacturing and laboratory setting.
• Exposure to hot, cold, and dusty environments.
• Extended standing, walking, climbing ladders, and occasional crawling/crouching.
Experience:
• Laboratory, Quality Control, Food Safety, or Food Manufacturing experience preferred.
