Job Title: Product Engineering Technician
Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location: Fargo, ND 58102
Duration: 24 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Shift: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Description:
• Support product validation, testing, and troubleshooting activities
• Perform PCB testing, failure analysis, and root cause investigation
• Analyze test data and create technical reports
• Build test harnesses, fixtures, and engineering test boxes
• Conduct manual testing of electronic circuits and assemblies
• Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement projects
• Support prototype testing and engineering documentation
• Train and guide test operators when needed
• Work with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• 60-70% computer-based work
Required Skills:
• PCB troubleshooting and failure analysis
• Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and test equipment
• Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of manufacturing and electronic components
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently
Preferred Skills:
• TAKAYA APT-1600FD experience
• PCB layout and soldering experience
• 3D printer experience
• Advanced electronic test equipment knowledge
• Experience with heavy equipment electronics preferred
Education:
• A.S. Degree in Electronics, Technical Diploma, Military Certification, or equivalent experience
Work Experience:
• 1 years of experience in electronics, manufacturing, engineering, or related field
• Product testing and troubleshooting experience preferred
• Experience handling multiple engineering projects preferred
