We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver for our brand new assisted living community, Riverside Lodge.
The Caregiver will play a vital role in supporting our mission and values by assisting residents with personal care such as dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and ambulation to encourage independence, according to resident service plan and established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist or supervise residents with personal care in a way that supports the highest level of independence.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to supervisor and/or Assistant Director of Nursing.
• Assist with daily housekeeping chores to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving and cleaning of kitchen and dining room.
Requirements:
• Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) certification preferred or will be provided.
• Fire safety training preferred or will be provided.
• American Heart Association (AHA) First Aid certification within 6 months of hire or within 2 years of your initial CBRF First Aid & Choking certification class.
• Experience in a resident care position preferred.
