What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compounding Pharmacy Technician (Days) position at Three Oaks Pharmacy?
The ideal person for this position is friendly, enthusiastic with excellent customer service and communication skills, organized, able to follow instructions, and be able to perform basic mathematical functions such as calculating a day's supply of a prescription, receiving medication orders, measuring quantities, mixing ingredients, packaging medication, and updating records. Applicant must have a valid pharmacy technician license with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Making compounded medications
- Pharmacy clerical work (ex. answering phone, filing, etc.)
- Filling prescriptions accurately
- Pharmacy Lab cleaning (ex. dishwashing, equipment and lab sanitization, etc.)
Job Types: Part-time Days, Monday-Friday
Experience:
- Compounding experience (Preferred)
License:
- Pharmacy Technician Certification
