Kennel Technician (Part-Time, Minimum 20 Hours/Week)

The Role
This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role responsible for the daily care, safety, and cleanliness of all dogs in our kennel and daycare programs. You will be expected to stay on your feet, manage multiple tasks at once, and maintain a high standard of care even during busy, high-volume days.

Core Responsibilities
- Feeding, watering, and administering medications (as directed)
- Cleaning kennels, runs, and common areas (this is a large part of the job)
- Monitoring dog behavior, health, and safety at all times
- Safely handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels
- Assisting with daycare groups when needed
- Laundry, dishes, and general facility upkeep
- Supporting front desk and team members during busy periods
- Following strict safety, cleaning, and care protocols
Schedule & Availability (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 20 hours per week
- Must be available for morning (7:00–10:30 AM) and/or evening shifts (2:30–7:00 PM)
- Weekend availability is required
- Must be reliable and show up on time—this role directly impacts animal care

Preferred (But Not Required)
- Previous experience in kennels, vet clinics, farms, or animal care
- Experience handling multiple dogs at once
- Basic knowledge of dog behavior
