What are the responsibilities and job description for the Massage Therapist position at Three Grains Salt and Body Spa?
Three Grains Salt and Body Spa is looking for a seasoned part time night Therapist.
This shift will be from 3-6 Friday and Sat and 11-5 Sundays (negotiable)
Must be comfortable with:
Working both Spa locations (downtown Branson and Hollister)
Be willing to work alone (not all the time)
Selt Starter
Opening and closing
Checkout
Scheduling
Doing laundry
Minor clean up
This is commission plus Tips.
Must provide own Liability insurance.
Responsibilities
- Performs massage and body services that meet the established guidelines for the type of service offering and that fulfill guest expectations.
- Meets the needs of the guest at all times throughout the service.
- Cleans and disinfects all equipment on a daily basis or as used.
- Begins and ends all treatments on time.
- Works assigned schedule and arrives and departs from their shift on time
- Ensures that work areas are clean and set according to procedures.
- Checks own clients out and reschedules for next visits.
Qualifications:
- Valid state license in massage therapy or other credentials required by Missouri
- Previous massage and body work experience. (will accept new graduates)
- Must be able to build rapport with guest.
- Ability to explain various treatments/services to guests. Excellent customer service skills and work ethic.
- Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
- Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
- Strong team player.
- A comfort level with product recommendation.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- This position requires the following abilities: balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, tactile sense, repetitive motions, seeing, hearing, talking, and visual acuity.
- The employee will be required to operate the following tools: massage oils and lotions, hot stones, hot cabbie, hand towels, and disinfectants.
We have a fantastic team that needs help running the later part of the day. This is great for extra income or a side job. Willing to work with a newer therapist that is teachable.
