Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter patient information into the EMR system for registration.
- Verify and update existing patient information, including contact details and insurance.
- Escorting patients to other departments after registration is complete as requested.
- Obtain copies of patient ID and insurance cards.
- Collect and process patient payments at the time of registration.
- Demonstrate courtesy and professionalism with patients, visitors, and peers.
- Must be able to operate the phone, fax, copier, scanner, and printer machines.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous clerical or medical office experience preferred
- Must meet Employee Health Requirements
