Three Creeks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker/Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess 5–10 years of verified hands-on experience in custom cabinet fabrication, assembly, and installation. This role requires a craftsman who can work independently, solve complex installation challenges, maintain exceptional quality standards, and contribute to the successful completion of high-end residential and commercial projects.
The Senior Cabinet Maker/Installer will be responsible for all phases of cabinet production and installation, including blueprint interpretation, fabrication, assembly, quality control, jobsite coordination, and final installation. This individual will serve as a key contributor to project success while helping maintain efficiency, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and execute complex blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and installation plans.
- Plan and organize cabinet components, materials, and hardware to ensure efficient fabrication, assembly, and installation workflows.
- Fabricate, modify, and fit cabinet components as needed to accommodate design requirements and field conditions.
- Assemble custom cabinetry, millwork, and related products with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Verify measurements and conduct quality inspections throughout production to ensure compliance with company standards and project specifications.
- Lead and perform on-site cabinet installations, including layout, leveling, fastening, scribing, trimming, and final adjustments.
- Install doors, drawer systems, moldings, countertops, decorative panels, hardware, and specialty accessories.
- Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication and installation challenges independently while maintaining project schedules.
- Safely operate and maintain woodworking machinery, power tools, hand tools, and installation equipment.
- Coordinate with project managers, machine operators, finishers, designers, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Assist in training and mentoring less-experienced cabinet makers and installers.
- Maintain accurate records of job progress, material usage, and field modifications.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and jobsite requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment in both shop and field settings.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–10 years of verified experience in cabinet making, millwork, woodworking, custom fabrication, and/or cabinet installation.
- Advanced knowledge of cabinet construction methods, joinery techniques, materials, hardware systems, and installation best practices.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Proven experience performing high-end residential and commercial cabinet installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve fabrication and installation issues efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing superior craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Experience mentoring apprentices or junior team members is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in shop environments, construction sites, and occupied customer spaces.
- Ability to travel to job sites and work flexible hours as project schedules require.
