Duties
- Assist with lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming to keep lawns pristine and healthy.
- Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrub care to promote plant health and aesthetics.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like edging, digging, planting, and installing hardscape features.
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering efficiency.
- Help with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
- Contribute to the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape structures.
- Maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.
Experience
- Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators is preferred.
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or related construction work is a plus but not required—training will be provided!
- Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care, tree trimming, and garden design is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques in landscaping and tree care.
- Valid driver’s license is beneficial for transporting equipment or assisting with project setups.
