Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Greeting customers with a positive attitude and taking their food and beverage orders.
- Preparing a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and dining room.
- Assisting with restocking supplies and managing inventory.
- Responding to customer inquiries and helping to resolve any issues or complaints to the best of your ability.
- Collaborating with the kitchen and other team members to ensure efficient service.
- Complete duties from opening and closing checklists.
- Communicating effectively with team members and management.
- Take initiative to work independently, as well as, the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Previous experience as a barista and cashier is preferred but not required; we offer training.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and teamwork-oriented mindset.
- Must have a friendly personality and converse with a wide array of customers.
- Must be able to make change accurately.
- 18 years of age (due to selling alcoholic beverages at cafe).
- Must be available to work most weekends and holidays.
