Job Description:

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the RS3 UAS Contract, you will bring specialized expertise to support the development, implementation, and execution of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) projects. This highly specialized role requires a deep understanding and advanced knowledge of acquisition, logistics, and/or technological areas specific to the contract's requirements. You will provide expert-level guidance and contribute to the technical and strategic direction of projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. A Secret Clearance is required to ensure secure operations within the contract’s parameters.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT II requirements.
• An advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in a technical, business, or management area, or a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical field from an accredited college or university.
• Alternatively, 15 or more years of defense/industrial or acquisition experience in the relevant field of expertise.
• Must possess unique capabilities or experience not available under basic labor categories specified in Section B of the contract.

• Provide expert-level support and guidance in acquisition, logistics, and/or technological functions related to the RS3 UAS Contract.
• Contribute specialized knowledge and insights to enhance the success of UAS projects and support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, scientists, and managers to address complex technical challenges and ensure project success.
• Serve as a key advisor and leader within the team, mentoring junior staff and providing strategic direction.
• Apply advanced knowledge to solve unique challenges and provide critical inputs to mission-related tasks.

• Extensive expertise in the specialized functional tasks related to UAS acquisition, logistics, or technology.
• Advanced degree in a relevant technical, business, or management area, or extensive defense/industrial acquisition experience (15 years).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, provide leadership, and influence decision-making at the strategic level.
• Active DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification preferred.
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
