Job Description:

As an Engineer IV on the RS3 UAS Contract, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of engineering solutions for unmanned aerial systems (UAS). You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to execute tasks that align with technical requirements and project goals. This position requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to perform technical analysis, assessments, and evaluations of UAS-related systems. You will also contribute to the mentorship and development of junior engineers, offering guidance and support as needed. With a focus on both independent work and teamwork, you will help drive innovative solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment. A Secret Clearance is required for this role, ensuring that you are able to operate within the secure parameters of the contract.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience. Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT II requirements.
• Minimum of 5 years of related job experience, gained post-degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience receiving guidance from senior level managers/engineers/scientists and working independently to accomplish assigned tasks.

• Execute engineering tasks in support of the RS3 UAS Contract, ensuring compliance with project requirements and technical standards.
• Collaborate with senior team members to design, develop, and implement solutions for unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
• Conduct technical analysis, assessments, and evaluations related to UAS engineering projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff as needed.

• Proficiency in engineering principles, methodologies, and practices related to UAS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Active DoD 8570.01-M IAT II certification preferred.
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
