Overview: Threat Management Group is looking for qualified candidates to provide Training Administrative Support for Naval Assessment and Selection Courses.
CEODD LSGL trains about 650 students annually and occupies 5 buildings totaling nearly 45,000 square feet that contains office spaces, classrooms, an aquatic training area, storage areas, a gymnasium, locker rooms and student barracks.
Candidates must have:
· A minimum of two (2) years of experience scheduling and coordinating the Assessment and Selection Course and administering Naval Safety Programs.
· Master or Senior EOD Technician or U.S. Navy 1st Class Diver experience is preferred, but not required.
· Secret Clearance
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Schedule and coordinate Navy Diver Assessment and Selection Courses, and update and maintain the associated daily, weekly, monthly, and long-range training schedules, and coordinate use of classrooms, aquatic training facility, gymnasium, and other training facilities.
· Maintain instructor training and certification records, and for curriculum changes to any of the CEODD LSGL courses, submit appropriate reports (e.g., Curriculum Feedback Reports) to CEODD.
· Manage the administration, oversight, and execution of the CEODD LSGL Safety Programs (e.g., High-Risk Training, Traffic and Motorcycle Safety, and Recreational Off-Duty Safety Program) IAW OPNAVINST 1500.75B, NETCINST 5100.13C, OPNAVINST 5100.23H, and OPNAVINST 5100.25C. Support includes entering Safety-related training information in Enterprise Safety Application Management System (ESAMS) for staff and students, and coordinating and conducting Command Safety Stand-downs.
· Research, write, and submit micro-purchase worksheets, material requisition orders using Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures, and non-standard requisitions for equipment, parts, materials, and consumables. Support includes checking for material availability through the Defense Logistics Agency, General Services Agency, Federal Logistics (FEDLOG), Navy Supply System, and open market sources.
· Perform secretarial duties of answering calls, taking messages for the CEODD LSGL, forwarding calls to the respective staff, scheduling meetings, and assisting with the setup of conferences, visits, and meetings. Support includes managing the CEODD LSGL Outlook calendar (e.g., meetings, travel, and taskers) and sending activity notifications and reminders to the staff and the management of records created by CEODD LSGL in the applicable repository and database.
· Perform building safety inspections and initiate, assign, and track work orders for building trouble calls.
