Experienced Embroidery Machine Operator (Part-Time)

Thread Art is a growing custom apparel and embroidery company looking for an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join our production team.
We are specifically seeking candidates with commercial embroidery experience who can contribute quickly and confidently in a production environment.
If you've operated multi-head embroidery machines, understand embroidery production workflows, and take pride in producing high-quality work, we'd love to talk with you.
Schedule
Part-time position.
Training hours are typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. After training is completed, additional scheduling options and flexible hours may be available.
Ideal for experienced embroidery operators seeking supplemental income, flexible part-time work, or additional hours in the apparel decoration industry.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial embroidery machines
- Hoop garments and prepare items for production
- Load designs and verify production settings
- Monitor machine performance during production runs
- Perform thread changes, needle changes, and basic machine adjustments
- Identify and correct embroidery quality issues
- Trim and finish completed embroidery
- Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance
- Assist with folding, packaging, and quality control of completed orders
- Help maintain production schedules and meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Preferred Experience
- Commercial embroidery machine experience required
- Experience with Barudan, Tajima, SWF, Happy, Brother, or similar equipment preferred
- Understanding of hooping techniques, stabilizers, and garment preparation
- Ability to troubleshoot thread breaks, tension issues, registration issues, and other common embroidery challenges
- Experience working in a production environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality

Pay based on experience.
