Job Overview
We are seeking 2 individuals or a 2 person team dedicated and energetic Commercial Cleaners to join our dynamic cleaning team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial facilities. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure our clients’ environments are safe, spotless, and welcoming. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
- Conduct floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing to maintain pristine floor conditions
- Handle cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners with precision and care
- Use appropriate chemical agents for cleaning and floor care while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or cleaning supplies safely and efficiently
- Apply floor cleaning chemicals correctly for effective results in floor polishing and maintenance
- Ensure all janitorial duties are completed promptly to meet client expectations and health standards
- Cleaning is for 4 buildings in Hagerstown (2), Williamsport (1) and Waynesboro (1)
- Cleaning would take place anytime from Friday evening through Sunday morning weekly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is highly desirable
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely and follow environmental safety guidelines
- Strong manual handling skills for lifting heavy objects or equipment
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Prior experience with environmental services or janitorial work is a plus
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shifts
