Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to keep lawns healthy and vibrant
- Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and gardens through pruning, trimming, planting, and watering
- Operate various power tools and hand tools safely for landscaping projects and routine maintenance
- Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting, or removal with proper equipment like chainsaws or excavators when necessary
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties while maintaining landscaping equipment in peak condition
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers and power tools
- Experience in lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques for gardens, trees, shrubs, and hardscape features
- Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail along with good communication skills for team collaboration
