The Senior Preconstruction Manager leads the preconstruction process on Thrash’s largest and most complex pursuits, owning the estimate from conceptual budgeting through final proposal and buyout handoff. As the company’s senior cost and constructability authority during design, the Senior Preconstruction Manager partners with owners, architects, and the operations team to deliver accurate, competitive, and well-scoped pricing.
This is a senior, client-facing role for an estimator who can run major preconstruction efforts independently and lead others through them. Reporting to the VP of Preconstruction, the Senior Preconstruction Manager develops estimates across all design phases, drives subcontractor engagement and bid coverage, mentors Preconstruction Managers and Coordinators, and ensures a clean transition from preconstruction to operations. The Senior Preconstruction Manager must be able to navigate public and private project pursuits effectively.
Thrash pursues projects ranging from $5 million to $150 million, with the majority of work typically falling between $20 million and $70 million. The company serves a diverse range of sectors, including education (K-12 and higher education), industrial, healthcare, corporate, institutional, manufacturing, food & beverage, and entertainment.
