Thorpe Landscapes of Asheville is a full-service landscape construction firm currently hiring for maintenance crew positions. We are rapidly expanding and looking for top-notch individuals to join our team!

Who do we work for and what do we do?
- We work with commercial and custom home builders in the area to site prep, install drainage, and finish landscape their communities and homes
- Our group installs retaining walls, boulder walls, patios, walkways, driveways, outdoor kitchens, artificial turf, and more
- We service commercial maintenance properties year-round
- Erosion control
- Stream restoration
Right now, we’re especially looking to grow our MAINTENANCE CREW, which focuses on:
- Mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, pruning, and mulching
- Installing and maintaining sod, plants, drainage, and irrigation
- Making sure properties stay clean, healthy, and looking their best
- Keeping up with seasonal needs and ensuring high-quality results
What Equipment do we operate?
- 85U & 50U Hitachi excavators
- T590 & T64 Bobcat skid steers
- MT100 mini skid steers
- Gravely mowers (stand-up, sit-down & walk-behind)
- Various heavy equipment attachments
General Job Responsibilities:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work at a fast pace year-round, including in summer heat
- Follow all company safety policies
- Be in uniform and wear proper safety gear
- Load materials and equipment and depart shop by target time each morning
- Maintain and enhance landscapes through mowing, mulching, trimming, planting, and sod installation
- Perform hardscape and softscape installs (brick, stone, irrigation, drainage, etc.) as needed
- Keep trucks and equipment clean and presentable
- Maintain tools and equipment and report any issues
