Housekeeping Associate Residential Treatment Program Weekends

Thoroughbred Wellness and Recovery is dedicated to providing high-quality substance use treatment. Our facility offers detox and residential services, ensuring a structured and therapeutic environment for client recovery.

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy client care environment within the facility. This role ensures that all areas, including client rooms, bathrooms, common spaces, and treatment areas, are sanitary, organized, and comfortable for both clients and staff.

This schedule is Thursday- Monday, includes weekends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleaning & Sanitation:

• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain the sanitation and cleanliness of the facility.
• Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and supplies using appropriate cleaning methods and germicides.
• Follow all infection control measures to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
• Properly clean and store all equipment and supplies after each shift.

Facility Upkeep & Organization:

• Move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, ensure all furniture is in good working order.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors, ensuring all surfaces are well-maintained.
• Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for the department/unit and ensure proper stock levels.
• Prepare rooms for meetings, arrange decorations, and set up furniture for facility functions.
• Ensure common areas remain neat, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Ensure that bedding and towels are properly cleaned, sanitized, and replaced as needed.

Compliance & Safety:

• Follow all safety guidelines and facility protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns, such as broken equipment or hazardous conditions, to the Director of Guest Servies & Quality Assurance.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal health and safety regulations.

Other Duties:

• Assist in stocking and organizing housekeeping supplies.
• Perform additional housekeeping tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Healthcare environment preferred.
• Certifications: CPR certification, de-escalation and restraint certification (training provided upon hire if needed)

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to cleanliness standards.
• Understanding of proper sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures.
• Compassionate and professional attitude toward individuals in recovery.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Full-time, on-site position
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods and lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
• Availability for schedule: Thursday - Monday, includes weekends
